Being Mommy: Fun Food for Toddlers

As most people know (and mommies know all too well), feeding a toddler is sometimes the hardest part of the job. Some days they are ravenously hungry and will eat anything, and other days, all you get is a clamped mouth and a NO NO NO. Here are some fun ideas that may appeal to your toddler. If not, it will at least be a fun & educational exercise....

Macaroni & Cheese with Spaghetti Hair, Cucumber & Pea Eyes, Bell Pepper Mouth

Strawberry Jam & Buttered Toasts, Half a Banana and Two Peas

Fruit & Yogurt Popsicle with a Pretzel Stem

French Toast with Banana Ears & Nose and Raisin Eyes

Wheat & White Bread Hippo with Cucumber & Peas for Eyes & Nostrils

Apple and Peanut Butter Sandwich with Chocolate Chips and Raisins

Don't those look like fun? Now only if us mommies had time to make such adorable and tasty creations! Someone should invent a toddler restaurant where this kind of stuff is served all the time (and throwing food or singing while eating are acceptable practices).

Which ones would you try to replicate at home? What are your toddler's favorite foods? What usually works for you? You can check out some more ideas here.
