Happy Holidays

Hope you all had a nice holiday! Ours was filled with family, food and fun. Little J had a blast opening presents, hanging out with her cousins, and eating tons of sweets. Such is the life of a toddler.

Christmas Morning with her loot from Santa
We celebrated with a pre-Christmas dinner with my husband's side of the family, and then on Christmas eve with my side. It was so great to spend quality time with family, and really reminded me of how lucky we are to live so close to our loved ones. Both dinners were a family effort, with traditional Indian elements, and lots of seasonal flavors. Desserts were probably the highlight! Hubby's cousin made chocolate covered pomegranate seeds, another made delicious gingerbread cookies, and my sis-in-law wowed us with adorable and delicious creme brûlée.

Candy Cane creme brûlée....too cute to eat!
Little's J's grandparents spoiled her with so many presents! I'm pretty sure she got everything on her wish list (and more...)

The kids loved playing together, and torturing my parent's poor dog....

Most of all, we really enjoyed each other and having four blissful days of uninterrupted family time. Does it get any better than that??

Happy holidays to all... and to all a good night.
